Renate Schweizer, intermodal artist, born in Kirchheim/Teck, Bachelor- & Masterstudy at Art Institute of Boston At Les, USA. Scholarship for outstanding students 'Markelstiftung-Robert-
Bosch', international scholarship of the ministry of education and the art, NRW;
As a student she travelled to India for several month, so the asian, specially indian culture influenced strongly her art in making sculptures and masks. 2005/06 again she worked in the "artist in residence-"programm in Sanskriti Kendra, New Delhi, where she became inspired to her art-project "Come to dinner - invention to all nations and religions" using overbrewed teabags from all over the world as material basic.
Renate is making art since her childhood. Since 1983 national and international
exhibitions & performances in Germany, Hongkong, India, South Corea, France, Italy,
Switzerland, Netherland, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, USA, Australia, etc.
